Stools for KARIMOKU NEW STANDARD, Stool, Japan

Stools is a ‘two-storey’ stool/side-table that mixes typologies to constitute a versatile object that serves various purposes. When sitting down upon it, it acts as a stool and when placing an item upon it, it can be used as a side-table.

Pile, Stools and Nook are part of the new collection KARIMOKU NEW STANDARD, directed by Teruhiro Yanagihara for established Nagoya based manufacturer Karimoku. With the aim of sustainability, the entire collection is made of thinning wood, a common waste product of forestry.
